Agility is all about delivering better value with high quality to the market/client. These days we often work in sprints, do our daily’s and embed lessons learned. Still we struggle too often with the appreciation of the customer. What is it that hinders us? And of course, what to do about this from the corporate/organisational perspective?
The impact (or lack of) “vertical alignment”, including senior leadership in an organisation on the final client experience is huge. Traditional behavior at the top of an organisation will only evoke traditional behaviors in the delivery teams and Agile benefits/objectives will not be achieved. In this training we will focus on how to involve the client in the process. An important aspect of this is the role of management and bureaucracy. All what Agile is will be addressed.

Arie van Bennekum is one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto and Thought Leader with Wemanity. He is a pragmatic who embeds his pragmatism in structure, discipline and common sense. This eventually led to becoming one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto and an expert in the area of Agile Project Management, team facilitation, agile techniques and user involvement. Believing in his team, facilitating them to reach their best combined with end user involvement, have his focus when he speaks, presents, demonstrates and lectures about agility.
